Sara Levinson – Business Advisor

Sara Levinson has been providing expertise in business expansion and restructuring for small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and communities to the SV SBDC team since 2012. Sara’s experiences working in diverse sectors to assess and facilitate growth using tools such as strategic alliances, financial analysis, government funding, and economic development are a key contribution to the region. She shines in mobilizing people and resources to accomplish goals, and directly applies her working knowledge of building and implementing strategic plans to facilitate sustainable business growth. Her understanding of organizational dynamics is particularly impactful when advising small business owners.
Sara’s work with area organizations has recently resulted in several successful real estate projects and she contributes heavily to the SV SBDC capital formation goals by actively assisting clients with pursuing funding from grants, bank loans, and private investment. These valuable skills not only impact individual businesses and organizations but also enhance the local economies in Sara’s designated region of Page County. She is currently contributing to a Financial Resources database to expedite a myriad of funding sources to clients.
Fun Fact
Sara was the co-owner of a television production company. She and her business partner produced sports and music projects, including an award-winning musical biography titled “In the Key of Oscar,” about Oscar Peterson who was a world-renowned jazz pianist. The film follows Peterson’s life and career, including personal interviews with jazz greats such as Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones and Herbie Hancock.
